Raymond Hoogendorp has been selected to create a live painting in the Museum at Dali Museum Barcelona ARC 5 at the opening of the worldArtVision Barcelona 2011 where his work will be exhibited.

World Art Vision that will be held in the Real Círculo Artístico de Barcelona, Spain,
from 19th May - 5th June 2011. The exhibition will take place in the heart of the historical centre of Barcelona, el Barrio Gotico, where the Cathedral, the Ramblas, the Picasso Museum and the Salvador Dalì Escultor Museum are all located.

Raymond Hoogendorp (1973) is a versatile artist.

He started painting at the age of eight. He held his first exhibition at the young age of 13 and many more have followed. His abstract work is cheerful and colourful. Over the years, he has developed his own style which is instantly recognizable. Raymond makes extensive use of relief. The canvases are flat when acrylic thickener and relief are made. Paint is then poured in between these raised contours. What is very apparent is the rather large signature that Raymond puts on his work with a lot of relief. Raymond’s work is regularly exhibited at leading locations. He enjoys travelling the world and likes creating art works on location.

This year he will have solo exhibitions in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Tokyo, Lisbon, Bali and Amsterdam and he has also been selected for the Biennale Florence, Italy on the 3rd November-December 2011.

He creates great works of art which are commissioned by private collectors and various businesses. Hotel Dorint Amsterdam Airport and Baliniksoma Boutique Beach Resort Indonesia  a visit worth to admire his work.. His abstract work is often compared to the work of none other than Sam Francis. Like fellow artist,Takashi Murakami, he is unique and is not restricted to a form of art. He also creates figurative paintings, glass art and extremely large items for outdoors.

Raymond is also the spiritual father of the famous character Flub .
