Raymond Hoogendorp (Amsterdam 1973) veelzijdig kunstenaar

Al vanaf zijn 8e jaar schildert Raymond Hoogendorp (1973). Op zijn dertiende hield hij de eerste van vele kunstexposities. Zijn abstracte werk is vrolijk en kleurrijk. De eigen stijl, die hij in de loop der jaren heeft ontwikkeld, is direct herkenbaar. Raymond maakt veel gebruik van reliëfs. De doeken liggen plat terwijl met acrylverf en verdikker reliëfs worden aangebracht. Tussen deze verhoogde contouren wordt vervolgens verf gegoten. Hij maakt veel groot formaat schilderijen en buiten sculpturen waar hij verf tegenaan gooit en vanaf laat druipen. Zeer herkenbaar is ook de vrij grote handtekening, die Raymond met veel reliëf aanbrengt.

Raymond Hoogendorp (Amsterdam 1973), versatile artist

Raymond started drawing and painting at the age of 8 with his first of many art exhibitions at the age of 13.

His abstract work is bubbly and colorful, with its own unique style developed over the years and immediately recognizable. Raymond often uses reliefs, laying the canvasses flat while applying reliefs with acrylic paint and thickener. He then pours paint between these raised contours. Raymond’s signature is also immediately recognizable, as it is quite large and applied with much relief.

His work has recently been exhibited in trend-setting locations, such as Yu-Shun Art Museum, Wang-Xiang – China, Shanghai PuDong National Library, QianCheng - China
